Required Conditions to Sync

The following conditions are required for Lennd orders to successfully sync to Eventbrite:

  • All items must be approved or denied.

Lennd orders will fail to sync to Eventbrite if they don't meet the following conditions:

  • Ticket type quantities must not exceed available capacities.
  • Ticket type quantities must fall within the minimum/maximum allowable amount per order.

Automatic Sync Behavior

Lennd orders are automatically queued to sync approved items to Eventbrite as soon as they meet the required conditions listed above. 

Any changes made to Lennd orders that have already synced will automatically trigger changes to Eventbrite orders based on the behavior outlined below.

Note: It can take upwards of 30 seconds for an order to make it through the sync queue and create or update a related Eventbrite order.

Cancelling Orders

Cancelling a Lennd order will trigger an action to cancel/refund any related Eventbrite orders.

  • Warning: Eventbrite orders can be cancelled/refunded even if they have been checked in or paid for.

Note: Lennd orders are cancelled when their order contents are reduced to 0 or by going to the order details modal, clicking the purple Review button and selecting Cancel Order.

Removing Items

Removing items from a Lennd order will trigger an attempt to update any related Eventbrite orders.

If none of the items on a related Eventbrite order have been checked in… 

  • Removed Lennd items will be cancelled/refunded on the related Eventbrite order.

If at least one of the items on a related Eventbrite order has been checked in… 

  • The Eventbrite order cannot be adjusted from Lennd and any changes will need to be made directly from Eventbrite.

Adding Items

Adding items to a Lennd order will trigger an attempt to update any related Eventbrite orders.

If none of the items on a related Eventbrite order have been checked in… 

  • The existing Eventbrite order will be cancelled/refunded and a new Eventbrite order will be created that reflects changes made on the Lennd order.

If at least one of the items on a related Eventbrite order has been checked in… 

  • The Eventbrite order cannot be adjusted from Lennd and any additional items will need to synced through a new Lennd order.

Name Changes

Changing the name on a Lennd order will trigger an attempt to update any related Eventbrite orders. If successful, the name change made in Lennd will be reflected on any existing Eventbrite orders instead of cancelling and creating new ones.

Note: The name on Eventbrite orders can be changed even if items on an order have been checked in.

Email Changes

Changing the email on a Lennd order will trigger an attempt to update any related Eventbrite orders. If successful, email changes made in Lennd will be reflected on new Eventbrite orders after cancelling/refunding any existing ones.

  • Warning: existing Eventbrite orders will be cancelled/refunded and new Eventbrite orders will be created regardless of whether items on an order have been checked in.
