This article will help you develop a fundamental understanding of Lennd by showing you how to create a simple event from scratch. In the articles that follow, we’ll take a closer look at every section of Lennd and explain some of the best practices and behavior you should be aware of in more detail.

Create Your Event

You can create a new event by clicking “Add Event” from your organization dashboard. Select “Create event from scratch” for your first event, but later on you can read about cloning events to speed up your event creation process.

Event Dashboard

You’ll land on your new event’s Dashboard after selecting one of the options above.

At the top you’ll be able to quickly see if your event is Live or in Draft mode. If it is Draft mode (as shown below), it will be highlighted in yellow.

Your dashboard will also give you quick access to key metrics and pages. Any statistics will be zeroed out at first and will increase as you collect RSVPs or sell tickets. Some of the details on your dashboard include:

  • A shortcut to publish and preview your event.

  • A shortcut view your registration page and copy the URL.

  • A count of the registrations for your event and a shortcut to view those details.

  • The total revenue made for events that sell tickets.

  • A status of whether your event is published and a shortcut to your venue settings.

  • A shortcut to copy the Backstage URL and RTMP details for your stages.

  • A list of your most recent registrations.
