Overview
This guide will help you connect your Neon CRM event to your Fondi virtual event. When you connect a Neon CRM event to a Fondi event, Fondi will sync over any registrations you have in Neon CRM and keep them up to date in Fondi as RSVPs to your virtual event.
Data that is synced to Fondi includes:
Event Registrations
Getting Started
Step 1: Create your event in Neon CRM
You've likely already done this, but if not - create the event you'd like to host a virtual event or fundraiser for in Neon CRM and begin taking registrations. You can connect to Fondi at any point during the duration of your event.
Step 2: Sign up for Fondi and create your Event
If you haven't created an organization and event in Fondi yet, go ahead and sign up. Create the virtual event that you'll want to sync to your Neon CRM event -- you'll probably want to name your Fondi event the same as your Neon CRM event to make it easy to keep track of.
Step 3: Connect your Neon CRM organization to your Fondi organization
Next up, let's connect the Fondi & Neon CRM Integration.
There are 2 pieces of information that you'll need to copy and paste into Fondi to complete the setup process:
Org ID - This is the unique identifier for your organization's Neon CRM system that helps Fondi tell Neon CRM what information it's trying to access
API Key - An API key is associated with a user in Neon CRM, and they inherit all the same permissions that their associated user has in the Neon CRM UI. The API Key gives Fondi access on your behalf to access your data.
โ
โNote: Neon CRM recommends creating a new Neon CRM user for each integration you want to connect to Neon CRM, and limiting the permissions of that user to minimum required to perform the functions of the integration. This will make it easier to manage access to your Neon CRM and to deactivate an integration without affecting other apps connected to your system.
First, let's locate your Neon CRM Org ID. To find your org ID, within Neon CRM go to the Settings cog > Organization Profile:
Locate the Account Information section and find Organization ID:
Next, let's locate your API Key. To find your API Key, within Neon CRM go to the Settings cog > User Management:
Go to an existing user record or create a new user. On the user page, enable API Access and copy the API key:
Back in Fondi, while viewing your organization, click on Integrations in the left sidebar. You'll see a list of integrations. Scroll to the Neon CRM integration and click "Connect".
Copy and paste the three values we mentioned earlier (Org ID, API Key) into the corresponding fields on Fondi. Click "Connect".
Step 4: Map your Neon CRM events to your Fondi events
Now, you need to tell Fondi what Neon CRM events you want to map to which Fondi events. Click the "Settings" button by the Neon CRM integration.
Select a campaign and the corresponding event you want registrations to sync to. Then click "Add Mapping". Rinse and repeat for however many campaigns you want to map.
Voila! Your Neon CRM event's registrations will now sync to Fondi every 10 minutes. You can always go back into the integration settings and click "Sync Registrations" to force sync your registrations over. You can also change or remove the mapping, as desired.
Step 5: Send out your Fondi event's registration page URL to your registrants
Now that your registrations are syncing over, you can focus on the fun part of customizing your virtual event on Fondi. This includes adding your branding and configuring your agenda, speakers, sponsors, expo and other items.
When attendees arrive at your registration page, if they haven't registered yet they'll be linked to your Neon CRM event page to register -- or if they have registered already via Neon CRM they can use the same email they registered with to access your event.

Good to know:
A single Neon CRM event can only be mapped to one event
When a Fondi event is synced to a Neon CRM event, the event will be forced to "RSVP" mode (instead of ticketed) and the event's registration page will point people to your Neon CRM event website to register for your event.
Once your Neon CRM event is mapped, new registrations will be synced over every 10 minutes. If you would like this to be a lower interval, please reach out to us at support@lennd.com.
