Why should you set up schedules?

Managing schedules is key to planning a successful event, but it can be one of the most time-consuming aspects to coordinate across multiple departments.

Building schedules in Lennd reduces complexity and provides a single source of truth for your organization. Schedules can be added to portals so your groups and people can view their personal itinerary at a glance and see all related activities throughout their event dates.

Here are a few common schedule types:

  • Talent

    • Scheduling talent is a team effort. Advancing everything from transportation (flights, ground, vehicle rentals) to accommodation (hotels, billeting) to M&G (meet and greet) and after-parties is a massive undertaking.

  • Venue

    • Set times are just the beginning. Load-in, rehearsal, soundcheck, doors, and load-out times should all be tracked to avoid resource conflicts.

  • Production

    • Backline gear such as amps, mics, instruments and speaker cabinets need to be sourced, transported, transferred between stages and regularly maintained.

  • Site Deliveries

    • Knowing when large deliveries are expected can help your team allocate resources such as labor, gator cars, pallet jacks, etc.

  • Human Resources

    • Staff, volunteers, and other team members are the engine behind your events. Seeing at a glance who's available, on-shift, or offline (out of pocket) is key to pivoting during last-minute changes.

Lennd makes it easy to create and manage multiple schedules for your event. Please contact us if you want to learn more about enabling this feature.
